Evan walked in after her, looking around at the numerous books around them. “Anything, really. You pick,” Evan said as he started going through the books. His fingers trailed across the spines, coming across one that seemed familiar. He opened the book, trailing through the pages, seeing something that wasn’t originally part of the book. His eyes scanned the words, them coming across as a slight shock.
Halston shrugged and walked away from Evan, looking around at the books in another section. She picked up two or three books and read the back before she looked over at Evan who was staring down at a book. She walked over to Evan and leaned her head against his shoulder. “Find something good?”
“Uh..nothing really,” Evan said as he closed the book and put it away. He had a weak smile as he felt Halston’s touch against his shoulder. He then noticed the books she had and felt a smile overwhelm his face. ‘What do you have there?” Evan said going for the books.
“Yup, chilling alone,” Evan said as he looked at her. The warmth from her palm radiated against his, and it just him feel a weird sense of fuzzy. He looked up to find the cozy little bookstore they were going to. “Oh look, we’re here,”
Halston looked up and saw the bookstore, “Oh, yay!” She let go of Evan’s hand and opened the door. She walked inside, pressing her hand against the door for Evan to come in behind her. She looked around the bookstore for a brief moment. She had never been to the bookstore on the island before. That actually surprised her. “What kind of book are you looking for?” She asked, looking at Evan.

“Hey Halston,” Evan said with an overthrown smile. He stuffed his hands in his hoodie and looked over at the girl. “So, what were you doing?’ Evan asked with a smile as he started walking. He paused to make sure she was beside him, and kept his smile stretched on his face. He felt like he hadn’t seen Halston in a while, and that the little butterflies had started in his stomach again.
“Oh, nothing much. I was just hibernating and watching movies all day until you offered a trip to the book store.” She told him as she walked beside him and slipped her hand into his, intertwining their fingers in the process. She looked up at him and smiled. “What were you doing? Just chillin’?” She asked.
“Yup, chilling alone,” Evan said as he looked at her. The warmth from her palm radiated against his, and it just him feel a weird sense of fuzzy. He looked up to find the cozy little bookstore they were going to. “Oh look, we’re here,”
Halston fixed her hair a bit and put on her converse before she heard knocking at her door. She jumped up and practically skipped towards the door, excited to see her boyfriend. She answered the door with a smile on her face. “Hey, Ev!” She greeted him happily and walked out of the door frame, closing the door behind her.

Evan smiled as he slipped on a hoodie as he grabbed his wallet. His smiled as he grabbed his keys. He needed a new book since he seemed to spend a lot of the day in his room, and the same old was getting far too boring. He walked out of the house, walking down the halls. He moved to Halston’s room, knocking on her door. He waited to see her open the door, wanting to see her pretty face.
